National Doughnut Day!

Yesterday was our official first day of summer break and (conveniently) also National Doughnut Day!  Studly's recent high school graduate younger brother and their mom were here to visit and attend the local high school graduation, and Studly's brother was the awesome uncle who went out and got the kids and their friends some yummy delicious doughnuts!

After finishing a dozen delicious doughnuts, the kids all went between yards (ours and our facing neighbors) playing in the water...

After playing with the neighbor's hose, the kids came to our yard and had a water balloon fight.  Then I turned on our sprinklers, got one of our extra shower curtains and Curls tunnel and threw them in the yard so the kids could all play.  They kept at it for a good couple hours!

Curls wasn't big on going through the sprinklers, but he did play along (away from the spray of course!)

All in all, I would definitely have to say that yesterday was an excellent kick off to summer vacation!  Hope everyone's summer is also off to a fun and fabulous start!!
